From trees to a home Pink Elephant Painting did it. This beautiful log house suffered from mildew, rot wood, termites and all of the elements of mother nature.
By using the sandblast method, we were able to remove the old stain without damaging the wood and restored it to its natural beauty. Replacing a log is not easy or cheap. We used a safe and long-lasting method to protect this log house from wood destroying organisms. Borate preservative treament system was used to prevent future mildew, termites and decay.
Filling the cracks and gaps with log chinking, this log house preparation is complete.
Our final step was to apply the natural Storm Stain by California Paints, providing us with UV protection and typical longevity of each finish.
